I've been married to Chet for 26 years...we have two children together and Chet came into our marriage with two children! (all together, we have 2 girls and 2 boys!) 31, 29, 23 and 21 years old. Yikes! I can't believe I am old enough to have kids those ages! I was born in Louisiana where my Grandparents were cotton sharecroppers and I'm very proud of my cajun heritage. The photo above is my mother, Georgiana Smith Linde at 8 years old. She passed away when I was very young, but she carries on in my heart forever... My hubby supports my endless rabbit trails of creativity and he gets extra "points" for that! Farm Chicks 2010




If you've never been to FarmChicks, then you seriously need to start making your reservations NOW for next year.....cuz it's a roarin' good time and if you are a junkin' girl....this is your nirvana!!
My trinkets were in the Vintage Barn booth courtesy of Rolane barnbarnbaby.typepad.com and it looks like the "barn tags" were a hit! Thank you Rolane for the opportunity to have my goodies at Farm Chicks.
Isn't this "cake" amazing???!!! Also...a must do is CHAPS coffee/restaurant/bakery on Cheney-Spokane road in Spokane.....Celeste's new bakery is called "CAKE", so this was a homage (creative genius) to that...and a photo of Rolane's booth, which was the cutest darn thing in the place, and an amazing "lady" with a cupcake liner bodice......inspiration was everywhere!!!!!
