I've been married to Chet for 26 years...we have two children together and Chet came into our marriage with two children! (all together, we have 2 girls and 2 boys!) 31, 29, 23 and 21 years old. Yikes! I can't believe I am old enough to have kids those ages! I was born in Louisiana where my Grandparents were cotton sharecroppers and I'm very proud of my cajun heritage. The photo above is my mother, Georgiana Smith Linde at 8 years old. She passed away when I was very young, but she carries on in my heart forever... My hubby supports my endless rabbit trails of creativity and he gets extra "points" for that! Art and Soul Retreat, Portland 2010

ooooooooooooooooh yeah! Portland, here we come!! Vickie and I are meeting at our annual art retreat...the best ever!  We are so excited to be taking classes with Stephanie Lee and Sally Jean.  Renee is meeting up with us also...we all became great friends in Portland last year and then attended the Las Vegas retreat together last February.  So..for 5 1/2 days....it's all about art! oh, and shopping, and then the vendor show (of which I'm honored to be a part of..) on Saturday night. Three hours of foot stompin' shoppin' at the Art and Soul Vendor Show ....we'll be shoppin' in Portland for most of the day Saturday, then return to the Embassy Suites and set up for the show.
If you are in the area...you simply MUST stop by because it is eye candy as far as the eye can see! Plus, Maria from Collage on Alberta Street sets up her store in the hotel for an entire week!  Come one, come all!!
