I've been married to Chet for 26 years...we have two children together and Chet came into our marriage with two children! (all together, we have 2 girls and 2 boys!) 31, 29, 23 and 21 years old. Yikes! I can't believe I am old enough to have kids those ages! I was born in Louisiana where my Grandparents were cotton sharecroppers and I'm very proud of my cajun heritage. The photo above is my mother, Georgiana Smith Linde at 8 years old. She passed away when I was very young, but she carries on in my heart forever... My hubby supports my endless rabbit trails of creativity and he gets extra "points" for that! Funk Junk Sisters May 14th & 15th!


Change of plans....WAS going to participate in the fab Funky Junk sisters show this coming weekend in Puyallup, WAshington...
But...I have a dear friend from Aspen, co coming to visit and present her newest book www.jillshelleybooks.com in a presentation to the local school system in Sandpoint! We haven't seen each other for YEARS, so of course I wouldn't miss it...Jill is staying with us and I'm going to show her the town and have her see the craziness with the Lost in the 50's fun this weekend in Sandpoint. Her plane arrives at 2pm today...off to the airport!!!
....but visit Funky Junk Sisters and let me know how great it was!!!

I had never heard of this show but looks great. I am now subscribing to their blog. I won't be able to go this year but maybe another...:)
