I've been married to Chet for 26 years...we have two children together and Chet came into our marriage with two children! (all together, we have 2 girls and 2 boys!) 31, 29, 23 and 21 years old. Yikes! I can't believe I am old enough to have kids those ages! I was born in Louisiana where my Grandparents were cotton sharecroppers and I'm very proud of my cajun heritage. The photo above is my mother, Georgiana Smith Linde at 8 years old. She passed away when I was very young, but she carries on in my heart forever... My hubby supports my endless rabbit trails of creativity and he gets extra "points" for that! San Diego!


I'm heading off to San Diego, Calfornia...my old stomping grounds...to celebrate two friends' birthdays!! woot woot! Of course, I have every moment jam packed with things to see and do, especially people I want to spend time with!

You are the best and most faithful friend ever. When you were my sweet neighbor, I remember marveling at all the boxes of love you packed up and sent off to people that matter to you. I love that about you.
I think you should change your black background on your blog. It's spring, silly!
