I've been married to Chet for 26 years...we have two children together and Chet came into our marriage with two children! (all together, we have 2 girls and 2 boys!) 31, 29, 23 and 21 years old. Yikes! I can't believe I am old enough to have kids those ages! I was born in Louisiana where my Grandparents were cotton sharecroppers and I'm very proud of my cajun heritage. The photo above is my mother, Georgiana Smith Linde at 8 years old. She passed away when I was very young, but she carries on in my heart forever... My hubby supports my endless rabbit trails of creativity and he gets extra "points" for that! DOLPHINs! STINGRAYs! PELICANs! oh my!!


WOW! Stand up paddle boarding was A W E S O M E!! What an EPIC day! Dede and I went to La Jolla Shores with her paddle boards and were greeted in the ocean by several pods of dolphins swimming and playing within feet (INCHES!) of our paddle boards. We were speechless!! I wasn't as excited about the family of stingrays swimming underneath us but the pelicans dive bombing in the ocean for lunch was pretty cool.
WOW! Just an amazing day! Thank you Dede for the paddle lesson!! I just might have to get a board for fun on Lake Pend Oreille!!

FUN! Yes, get a paddle board, but watch out for crazy boaters! I wish I could come to your lake this summer and also dine at Jalapenos. I'm so glad you are having such a happy time in SD.
