About Me

My photo
Sandpoint, Idaho, United States
I've been married to Chet for 26 years...we have two children together and Chet came into our marriage with two children! (all together, we have 2 girls and 2 boys!) 31, 29, 23 and 21 years old. Yikes! I can't believe I am old enough to have kids those ages! I was born in Louisiana where my Grandparents were cotton sharecroppers and I'm very proud of my cajun heritage. The photo above is my mother, Georgiana Smith Linde at 8 years old. She passed away when I was very young, but she carries on in my heart forever... My hubby supports my endless rabbit trails of creativity and he gets extra "points" for that! Thank you for visiting my swirly glittered- up world filled with paint, glass & ribbon...share the love...leave a comment! Email me! I'd love to hear from you! sharifrench@gmail.com

Extreme Makeover, Final Edition!

She's back!! Yep! a do-over! And I'm quite pleased with the results...so pleased that I had to drape some necklaces on Georgie that you may have seen before...but they look oh so much cuter this go 'round! I upped the "do" on her hat, also...I love the pattern paper & burlap flowers...but my art retreat buddy Renee-suggested that I dip them in glitter and voila! Oh yeah...a little glitter always makes it better! Thanks Renee! Can't wait to show Georgie off at my next show in Puyallup, Washington - the FUNKY JUNK SISTERS!! May 15 & 16th. Be there!!!

I love the makeover, she turned out beautiful. I am thrilled that you will be at Funky Junk in May. I am going also, as a "shopper" on the hunt for awesome finds for my store. I will make sure to visit you there. My next Girls Night Out is Sat. March 20th. Would love for you to come and enjoy the event. Kelly at GardenStone
