About Me

I've been married to Chet for 26 years...we have two children together and Chet came into our marriage with two children! (all together, we have 2 girls and 2 boys!) 31, 29, 23 and 21 years old. Yikes! I can't believe I am old enough to have kids those ages! I was born in Louisiana where my Grandparents were cotton sharecroppers and I'm very proud of my cajun heritage. The photo above is my mother, Georgiana Smith Linde at 8 years old. She passed away when I was very young, but she carries on in my heart forever... My hubby supports my endless rabbit trails of creativity and he gets extra "points" for that! Thank you for visiting my swirly glittered- up world filled with paint, glass & ribbon...share the love...leave a comment! Email me! I'd love to hear from you! sharifrench@gmail.com

Who Let the Girls OUT?

Good Morning!! This is a BIG weekend in the Inland Northwest!! Be sure to visit SHANTY Boutique in Newport, Washington for their fabulous "Who Let the Girls Out"? event that takes you through 7 stores in the area with a "passport" of fun and the chance to win great prizes...oh, not mention yummy treats! Don't miss it!! For more info, go to www.shantyboutique.com

And....drum roll....come see Southern Charm (ok, that's me..) and more vendors (Farm Chicks vendors, etc.) at the Nine Mile Falls Elementary School "Vintage Treasures and Handmade Goods" show! Amazing goodies will await you!!

I say.....make it an all day event and wind your way through Nine Mile Falls and on to Newport, Washington. A great way to spend a Fall day and make us all feel warm and cozy inside with a little retail therapy, not to mention Eye Candy all day. Get in the Holiday Spirit!!!
