About Me

I've been married to Chet for 26 years...we have two children together and Chet came into our marriage with two children! (all together, we have 2 girls and 2 boys!) 31, 29, 23 and 21 years old. Yikes! I can't believe I am old enough to have kids those ages! I was born in Louisiana where my Grandparents were cotton sharecroppers and I'm very proud of my cajun heritage. The photo above is my mother, Georgiana Smith Linde at 8 years old. She passed away when I was very young, but she carries on in my heart forever... My hubby supports my endless rabbit trails of creativity and he gets extra "points" for that! Thank you for visiting my swirly glittered- up world filled with paint, glass & ribbon...share the love...leave a comment! Email me! I'd love to hear from you! sharifrench@gmail.com

Vintage Barn Show, Rathdrum, Idaho

Pam in her gorgeous bling filled booth at Vintage Barn!

My "new" trusty sidekick, "Georgie"

The Vintage Barn Show is a very fun show in Rathdrum, Idaho (in the Panhandle of Idaho). Lots of vintage goodies plus amazing artist like Pam Johnson with Pammy's Attic. Her booth was right across from mine and it's total eye candy! Lots of glittery charms, crowns and paper goods. Before the show even started, I purchased a wooden chalkboard created by her husband, and displayed my earrings on it. Can't believe how many people wanted to purchase just the chalkboard!! Well, really - I CAN believe it, cuz it's adorable. I like adorable!
Rolane Hopper, who owns the Vintage Barn, is on her way to the Country Living Faire Show in Columbus, Ohio and bringing along a boatload (RV full?) of my charms. Hope they are admired and purchased! Thank you Rolane for another fun show on the Rathdrum Prairie!
And a BIG shout out to the wonderful angels who came to my rescue when my booth took flight before the show and things were airborne!! And as always...Tracie and Nancy were there to help me set up, sell - AND break down! I thought Tracie was going to blow a gasket at my packing style...haphazard to say the least! But Tracie....I think I was able to get everything home intact! lol

I love the pictures of your booth! You should consider coming to Shreveport next fall for our Red River Revel. There are artists from all over who sell here. Dale and I have made friends with a few over the years.
Hope you are doing well....Love, your southern (charming) cousins! Harriet & Dale
