About Me

My photo
Sandpoint, Idaho, United States
I've been married to Chet for 26 years...we have two children together and Chet came into our marriage with two children! (all together, we have 2 girls and 2 boys!) 31, 29, 23 and 21 years old. Yikes! I can't believe I am old enough to have kids those ages! I was born in Louisiana where my Grandparents were cotton sharecroppers and I'm very proud of my cajun heritage. The photo above is my mother, Georgiana Smith Linde at 8 years old. She passed away when I was very young, but she carries on in my heart forever... My hubby supports my endless rabbit trails of creativity and he gets extra "points" for that! Thank you for visiting my swirly glittered- up world filled with paint, glass & ribbon...share the love...leave a comment! Email me! I'd love to hear from you! sharifrench@gmail.com

Sole Sisters in Helena, Montana

The POAC show in Sandpoint was great...the weather cooperated minus the 100 degree heat....so it was a pleasant change!
I had the pleasure of meeting Gerry from the shoppe "Sole Sisters" in Helena, Montana. Perhaps you will see Southern charm there along with shoes, apparel, handbags and accessories!! Typewriter key necklaces were a hit along with the Paris Initial double baubles/patina 29" chain. I just love those.....Brings me back to gazing over the Paris cityscape with my 16yr old daughter!
I also love the "Button Shadowbox" necklaces. Inside the shadowbox are vintage buttons and pages from a vintage childrens' grammar book from France. I love all things French...could it be linked to the fact that my last name is FRENCH?

A big shout out to Trayce also! She was inventive with the charms..adding them to her adorable charm bracelet. Thanks for visiting me in cda and sandpoint Trayce!
(and bringing her mum with her too!)

Off to helping my son pack for OSU...I'm going to be a sad girl this Thursday as my last birdie leaves the nest to attend college and play soccer at OSU, Corvalis!
