Cousins Zak and Kelsey had a great time at the reception catching up and watching their parents (us) have fun with the glo-sticks. (ears...) What a sweetheart Zak is, his amazing smile and that cajun accent just makes you melt. Kelsey fits right in with her cajun cousins!
The grooms cake was an incredible replica of a crawfish boil platter! We had just enjoyed a crawfish boil the night before at my cousin Bergis' house and it looked exactly like this! Wow! I thought that maybe the ACE OF CAKES had been there! (food tv show...) it was awesome and the chocolate cake underneath wasn't so bad either! lol
Aunt Olivia is so missed by all of us and Jenay honored her grandmother by attaching a wee silver charm in her wedding bouquet. (made by southern charm me...) It was a sweet memory of a beautiful lady. (My mother's sister)

- I've been married to Chet for 26 years...we have two children together and Chet came into our marriage with two children! (all together, we have 2 girls and 2 boys!) 31, 29, 23 and 21 years old. Yikes! I can't believe I am old enough to have kids those ages! I was born in Louisiana where my Grandparents were cotton sharecroppers and I'm very proud of my cajun heritage. The photo above is my mother, Georgiana Smith Linde at 8 years old. She passed away when I was very young, but she carries on in my heart forever... My hubby supports my endless rabbit trails of creativity and he gets extra "points" for that! Thank you for visiting my swirly glittered- up world filled with paint, glass & ribbon...share the love...leave a comment! Email me! I'd love to hear from you! sharifrench@gmail.com
