I've been married to Chet for 26 years...we have two children together and Chet came into our marriage with two children! (all together, we have 2 girls and 2 boys!) 31, 29, 23 and 21 years old. Yikes! I can't believe I am old enough to have kids those ages! I was born in Louisiana where my Grandparents were cotton sharecroppers and I'm very proud of my cajun heritage. The photo above is my mother, Georgiana Smith Linde at 8 years old. She passed away when I was very young, but she carries on in my heart forever... My hubby supports my endless rabbit trails of creativity and he gets extra "points" for that! Bird Necklaces...cheep-cheep!


I just LOVE these new birdie necklaces in honor of Spring! The brass bezel has a soft patina and a sweet nest of faux pearls and the little birdie charm is from Vintaj.Oh dear....I so apologize for the blurry photos in the last post......yikes! It's actually a photo of MaryJanesFarm historic flour mill, but from this photo, it's a bit painful to look at.
It is Memorial Day..remembering our loved ones who have gone before us and especially our troops...
