About Me

My photo
Sandpoint, Idaho, United States
I've been married to Chet for 26 years...we have two children together and Chet came into our marriage with two children! (all together, we have 2 girls and 2 boys!) 31, 29, 23 and 21 years old. Yikes! I can't believe I am old enough to have kids those ages! I was born in Louisiana where my Grandparents were cotton sharecroppers and I'm very proud of my cajun heritage. The photo above is my mother, Georgiana Smith Linde at 8 years old. She passed away when I was very young, but she carries on in my heart forever... My hubby supports my endless rabbit trails of creativity and he gets extra "points" for that! Thank you for visiting my swirly glittered- up world filled with paint, glass & ribbon...share the love...leave a comment! Email me! I'd love to hear from you! sharifrench@gmail.com

Livin' The Dream in Sandpoint...

This is my FAVORITE photo from our dock in Sandpoint, Idaho. I used the photo to entice my little sister, Shelley, and her daughter Brianna to visit me! It worked! What fun we had!
So here's the scoop...Chet and I have decided to "downsize" because as of August, we will be empty nesters...and are looking for a smaller home. Of course, nothing will compare with living on the lake next door to our awesome long-time friends, Pam and Bob....but we will continue to show up at their door with beach chairs and towels..(are you reading this Sherwoods?)
So if anyone out there is looking to live their own dream on a beautiful lake in North Idaho...this is the place for you! Beautiful (if I say so myself) new home with all the bells and whistles and we might even throw in the jet ski if you are so inclined.
On to a new chapter in our lives...we want to visit our children more often as they wind their way through college (Kelsey will be a junior this coming year!!)...hoping to catch many soccer games at Oregon State University watching Tanner play and maybe even snag a second honeymoon..(I'm going to get Chet to Tuscany even if I have to DRAG him there)..Who knows....but some lucky soul is going to take the reins on our house and enjoy this amazing opportunity to live on the water. Thank you Bob and Pam for finding this location for us and sealing the deal....It's been an awesome ride....
Of course, our next home will hopefully feature a LARGE art studio and a smaller kitchen...lol...priorities....
