About Me

My photo
Sandpoint, Idaho, United States
I've been married to Chet for 26 years...we have two children together and Chet came into our marriage with two children! (all together, we have 2 girls and 2 boys!) 31, 29, 23 and 21 years old. Yikes! I can't believe I am old enough to have kids those ages! I was born in Louisiana where my Grandparents were cotton sharecroppers and I'm very proud of my cajun heritage. The photo above is my mother, Georgiana Smith Linde at 8 years old. She passed away when I was very young, but she carries on in my heart forever... My hubby supports my endless rabbit trails of creativity and he gets extra "points" for that! Thank you for visiting my swirly glittered- up world filled with paint, glass & ribbon...share the love...leave a comment! Email me! I'd love to hear from you! sharifrench@gmail.com

It's finished and beeswaxed!

The photo really doesn't do the colors justice here....must be the lighting (or lack of)...but the beeswax really makes the colors rich and creamy...i did change the front and i could do so much more..but I am happy with it and I think i'm going to just leave it as is... I can't wait to share (with everyone's permission of course) photos of everyone's creation in the workshop.

On another note, we attended a friend's wedding today in Bonner's Ferry, Idaho...it was a small, lovely affair in a Catholic Church.....Congratulations go out to Jim and Susan! They are off to London in march for a delayed honeymoon and to visit Susan's daughter who is studying in London.
