I've been married to Chet for 26 years...we have two children together and Chet came into our marriage with two children! (all together, we have 2 girls and 2 boys!) 31, 29, 23 and 21 years old. Yikes! I can't believe I am old enough to have kids those ages! I was born in Louisiana where my Grandparents were cotton sharecroppers and I'm very proud of my cajun heritage. The photo above is my mother, Georgiana Smith Linde at 8 years old. She passed away when I was very young, but she carries on in my heart forever... My hubby supports my endless rabbit trails of creativity and he gets extra "points" for that! Cowgirl...


This is a piece i've been working on for awhile...I patina it, then sand it...then ponder it for awhile, etc....it is not finished yet, hence the holes and no charms...or i might even use it in a multi-media piece of art and not as a necklace. Love the metal stamping, though....and the cowgirl motif always reminds me of Ms. Vickie in Bishop, ca............
