About Me

I've been married to Chet for 26 years...we have two children together and Chet came into our marriage with two children! (all together, we have 2 girls and 2 boys!) 31, 29, 23 and 21 years old. Yikes! I can't believe I am old enough to have kids those ages! I was born in Louisiana where my Grandparents were cotton sharecroppers and I'm very proud of my cajun heritage. The photo above is my mother, Georgiana Smith Linde at 8 years old. She passed away when I was very young, but she carries on in my heart forever... My hubby supports my endless rabbit trails of creativity and he gets extra "points" for that! Thank you for visiting my swirly glittered- up world filled with paint, glass & ribbon...share the love...leave a comment! Email me! I'd love to hear from you! sharifrench@gmail.com

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! I was a little remiss in sending out Christmas cards this year....but thank you to everyone who sent us one.....I may yet send out our annual January cards...

We are all doing fine...Kelsey is home from college for winter break and enjoying the benefits of couch sitting, remote in hand....or going out with friends, not to mention the constant texting. Did the word "work" come into play....well, not as yet...there is always hope...

Tanner is playing basketball, even through the holiday break..they won last night against Moses Lake (yeah, go bulldogs!!)..it started out poorly, but they rallied and came out with a win!

Chet is still winding his way through specialists and mega-specialists...he spent a couple days in the hospital, but he's home now and feeling good!

I am, as usual,...in my art room (shoulda made it bigger....) cutting, pasting, ripping, and diamond-glazing my way through tons of projects. I'll post some here!

Have a wonderful start on the New Year! Hugs to all....
